MOSES

in a hushed british accent...
As the story goes, the Chameleon and the tiger are descended from a common ancestor. Dating back to the Triassic period, this giant hybrid of reptile and mammal was a voracious carnivore. Consuming mass quantities of giant insects, other reptiles, and other mammals - the Chiger - or in latin, chameleonus mammaleus, ruled the plains of what is now called Mexico. A skilled hunter, the chiger was unsurpassed in speed, agility, and defence. It's plated head and massive horn-like head piece made it unpenetrable. Truly an exceptional species, and a vital link in explaining the divergence of reptiles and mammals, the Chiger's days ended in the late Triassic period but the fossil record reminds us of him and his incredible speed, power, and ferocity.

Well that naughty little saucy-nancy!
I let her sit in the beech nut tree on my deck yesterday to soak up some rays...
Mom and Dad came over for a Mother's Day lunch and we went into the back yard for 2 minutes, when I came back -no Nancy. She had flung herself off of the tree and deck and escaped into the front garden! Rascal. Three hours later I found her in the fire thorn bush - what a Saucy little bugger to go into the fire thorn! It only took half an hour and many scratches to extract her from her protective lair. Now I suspect that there may be more than I thought going on inside that reptilian brain of hers. I was DISTRAUGT! It was Mother's Day and there I was loosing my charge. What a bad lizard mommie I am (good god i need to get a life eh?). haha.
Well, a little adventure in the life of Saucy Nancy the vagabond Chameleon... maybe I will use this journal to write some short stories? At least she wasn't picked off by a Raven -then the stories would have been REALLY short!
Photos show Nancy in the beech-nut tree moments before her "Great Escape" - what-a Steve McQueen wannabee!

4,000 Mexican soldiers smashed the French and traitor Mexican army of 8,000 at Puebla, Mexico, 100 miles east of Mexico City on the morning of May 5, 1862.
Found this cinco de mayo saying... is funny ok?
Gold and silver do not matter.
All I want is to break the pinata!

Long day today,,
Working on resources center with roger and the new newsletter headers. Headers are done (well.. designed and okayed) and resource center should be going live tomorrow. I'm going to watch the movie "cube" tonight and cuddle with the Bill!

For the May day is the great day
Sung along the old straight track
And those who ancient lines did ley
Will heed this song that calls them back
HI,
I am testing Jerrett's theory that if I make a new post in my web journl I will be bumped up to number one on the most recent posts list - lesgosee!

Hi everyone,
Imagine me having time to make my own journal. Now I suppose the down-side is that I will have to maintain it. Well that's ok, I'm sure I can find the time. It's 10:00pm and I'm watching a stupid movie with Woody Harrelson and Antonio Banderas while I build this journal -geesh.
Nancy (a.k.a Saucy-Nancy) has made her debut on Jerrett's web site. She is a ravishing green but covered in many 'stress dots' haha.
I will leave off with my ode to spring!
Sunshine?s playful frolic
Into mind?s winter weeds
Aptly transplanting
Sordid scenarios
And dingy doubts
With precious power seeds
Brings to life
New motivation of deeds
It was so sunny again this aft!
